Case Plow ?

Does anyone know if there numbers stamped on plows, such as serial or model ?
I have an original Operators Manual with mine which shows mine to be a series B. Otherwise I would have no idea.
Thanks

I don't think Case ever put a model# or serial# on any of its plows. I have four pull type Case plows, all on rubber. One is a 2-16 that my dad bought new in 1946 or '47. Another 2-16 that my brother purchased for me at an estate sale has "throw-away" lays. (It reportedly plowed only 80 acres before it was parked in the trees in the early 1960's.) It looks exactly like the one my dad bought new. I also have a 3-14 that I have converted to a 2-14 according to a Case Centennial plow manual that I have. The latest acquisition is 3-16 that I found in a tree belt. All are hand-trip. None have any model #'s on them. The moldboards are marked with CX-16 or CX-14 on all but the one with the "throw-away" lays. All components on all four are alike except for the two main wheels. The ones on the 2-14 have spokes, while the other three have disk rims. The one with throw-away lays has 15" tires, the other three have 16's. All tail wheels are 12" rubber with disk rims. I have not seen too many parts #'s, but haven't looked for them either. My book lists a parts number for every part on the plow, though. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)

Have one like that, but the one that has the parts list is a lot older. It lists 12" plows as well as the 14's & 16's. (Another $0.02 worth. jal-SD)
