Case F21 Disk

There is a 20 foot Case F21 disk coming up for auction and I am interested in finding out more. Did a quick google search and found 1 post each from agtalk and YT. The post from agtalk says the F21 is similar to an IH480, the post hear on YT just shows a 1570 pulling an F21. Anyone have any real world experience with the disk, pros, cons?

That is my 1570, I really like my F21, it's does a nice job in our
ground. My 1570 and 1370 pull it fine, I have had it hooked to
the 930 but with the wings up. Very happy with it for the $2500
I paid.

Ben,

Thanks for the video. How does the F21 do with keeping the ground level behind it any ridging? Any trouble finding parts? How about the bearings, decent life our pretty short? Any other disks you could compare it to? feel free to email me at [email protected]. Thanks.

It does a real nice job with keeping the ground level. The only
thing I have considered changing is the end plates, they are
the same size as the others. I think if they were smaller it
would do a better job of keeping ridges down, but if you pull it
around 5mph it does a good job, I didn't worry to much about a
little ridge because I usually went behind the disk with my 26ft
cultivator at about 10mph about 2 inches deep to finish before
planting. I think I was pulling that disk about 8 mph because I
was trying to stay ahead of the rain. I have not had to replace
any bearings yet, I have had that disk for 5 years, before that I
had a 21ft massey disk with spring fold wings. I like the case
much better, it's quite a bit heavier.
