Thinking about buying a David Brown 990 and would appreciate any input. I currently have an International 674 but I'm looking for something in better overall shape, and that starts fairly well in winter. Tractor will be used for upkeep of 50 acres, including brush hogging, blading, and hauling firewood. Anything to look out for in this model? Owner says it's an 8 speed but according to tractordata.com they were only available in 6. Comes with a factory mounted front loader and only has 1400 hours. Great tires and tin. Would 5,000 be a fair price? Also any idea what the weight would be with loaded tires? Current owner thought it's around 8,000 lbs, but I was hoping to transport with a car hauler with 3,500 lb axles. Thanks in advance for any and all help.
