This sign hung over my great uncles shop. Looks like he painted his name over the Case sign...twice.

Lots of memories there, yea, I know where one of ours are like that and its painted over, but need to do what Pa Kettle would say, "need to do that one of these days"!

Those were the days when nothing was thrown away. Even buildings were torn down and the lumber re-used. Almost unheard of today. Does your family have any connection to the Case dealer who had this sign? Was your uncle originally a Case dealer or did the building he had house a former Case dealer? Just curious. Don

Apparently the Case dealership belonged to the Cutway family here in Brier Hill. One of his decendents married my cousin seven or eight years ago. So I guess there some family ties now. There's actually two signs there bolted back to back.

My uncles building was a different one. His shop was the old first union church here in town. It still had the stained glass windows.
