Finally got a Case

I've been checking this Forum for quite some time mostly because of the pictures. I've never owned a Case, but my son in Wi. has an 830. I picked up a CASE 444 to go with my Power Kings last night. It's got Ag tires a new battery. It started right up, but smokes a little. I've been looking for an affordable CASE for quite a while and my grandson brought me his. He's moved into an apartment and has no place for three garden tractors and 2 trucks. It has no attachments. Can somebody tell me what model snow blower and lawn mower will fit a 444? What year is it? Also, does anyone have a picture of a three point hitch on one? I tucked it in with one of the Power Kings so it wouldn't get lonesome. I think when it gets it's turn for a paint job it will be Chassis and wheels: Case Flambeau Red,wheel rims: Rustoleum Silver
Body: Case Desert Sunset

Tom Arnold on the garden tractor forum will be a big help to you. The lugged rear tires are a plus on your 444.

agree. scroll down the forum list, to Garden Tractors. post a question there, or try this Case GT forum : http://hydriv.ca/

Dave, don't want to start a war but that is a nice original tractor, myself I would like to see it restored to the factory painr scheme, that is gonna be one sharp tractor if you do.

This isnt my tractor, but found it in one of the Case garden tractor sites and liked he was using 30 series weights.

But this will give you a idea. Used 3pts are around, if you would like a site, Tom Arnold has a great one. My email is open if you want the site location

It's your tractor to paint as you like. That being said the tractor is only original once. I would never paint one that looked that good. Just my two cents worth.
