my late model 1370 seems to stall or slip once in a while when using it has good trans pressure i noticed this when I was chisel plowing the other day it would surge like when I would drop the implement down and then it take right off agian just woundering if it would be in the valving or something more major! It happend when i was running it in 3rd gear 2nd range if that helps any good info would be great thanks

If you can get it to slip in all the power shift speeds, 1,2+3, then the torque limiter is more than likely slipping. If it only slips in one or two of the speeds then more than likely a clutch pack in power shift is slipping. Rod.

Rod..I checked the valve banks on the powershift for the pressures all the banks read 200psi until i checked the c1 and c3 banks it would only put out 110psi put 1 shim in the pressure regulater and it brought it up to150psi was gonna put another shim in and check it but ran out of time do you think maybe just the spring is week in regulator in it?

If some read 200 psi they all should read approx. that. Shimming the pressure reg. in the flow divider will raise all the pressures because that single setting controls the pressure for all clutch packs. A difference of more than 10 psi among circuits would indicate leakage in the ones with lower pressure. Rod.
