For my '65 830CK. Local Craig's list has a front weight set that
wraps around the front casting. 2 pieces weighing
300 lbs. They came off a 1030. I know the 1030
is quite different from the 7-8-930s and am
curious if the front castings are the same. My
parts book only shows the rectangular front
weights hanging out from the front casting, bolted
to ea other. I've pics in some lit that show this
weight on a 700/800 and am assuming they will fit.
Looks like a better deal then the front stacked
weights. Before chasing 75 miles to take a look,
your thoughts?
