Here are a few combine shots from NEIL. So far the corn we've done has been 20% and about 160bu, good stand and population but suffered way to much water damage. The beans were avg to a little above for us at 63bu. The last couple yrs are/were not the "bumper crops" USDA keeps taking about. We have had Parker wagons for a long long time, still 3 more big ones not outta the shed yet. Some of the pics look odd colorwise, the wagons and tractors are not faded as it appears. I think the camera batteries were getting weak.

Nice set of pictures, you have a good blend of Case and CaseIH there. What model is the combine? Good luck with your harvest.

It appears as if you still have a 1000 series corn head. KEEP it the newer ones 2000 and 3000 series are JUNK !! I have a 3208 on a 2577 and wish every day I ran it I had a 1083 back.

Really? It's a late 1063 right before the poly snout ones they did in 98/99. I keep thinking 2206. I know the early ones had serious issues. Neighbor still runs an older 1083 yet another has the fancy 8r30 Gerhing roto-disc, now that's nice but pricey too!

Interesting, I thought the Drago would be a good head as well. Did you get my email about the heat houser last week?

The Parker wagons seem to work better than most of the others. Doors are easier to raise and the spouts work out better.

I always like seeing everyone pics as well. But looking at yours (and the 12 & 13 are nice ones too) still doesn't make me miss our 1370 :) I would like to have an open station one just to play with though. It was a good tractor but we should have bought the second 2390 instead of it. I think this auger and wet corn would be a little to much for a vac plus we don't have one anyways :)

Really? We have a 2208 on a 2388 and really like it. We also have a 963 on a 1660 and I like the 2208 much better especially the hyd deck plates. This is the 3rd season for us and have not had any problems.

we have been running a CASE IH 2608 chopping head for 3 seasons now with no trouble except with the height sensors for auto height control. only had to do regular maintaince and doesnt seem near as expensive to maintain chopping kinves as some other brands but i have not run any of them so I dont know for sure.

Wow nice looking tractors, and other equipment.
I wish that my corn was ready to come off, i got some tested last week, it was 31-32%. we are near norwich ontario. It could be awhile before its ready.

Great pics! I'm all for the 1063 also. Did warranty work on the 2200s when they were new. I was never real impressed. Plus the 2200s are much heavier. The red combine is a good machine but isn't built any to heavy.(at least up to the 2300 series) The frame and front and rear axle tubes should have been made out of heavier steel. It gets to be a lot of weight with the heavier head & grain tank extensions.

Newer heads are heavy for one also my big complaints are that they are longer making cornering difficult and when a little tough conditions it shells at the head terrible. Green stalks or damp conditions make me wish I had a 1000 series back every time. In good going dry conditions they are fine.No-one in my area is happy with them, most have went to Gieringhoff or Drago's. Our local salesman even says the new 4000 series isn't much better. They sell three times as many other brand heads as they do CIH.
