I learned this afternoon that a 110 engine that has been in a local collector's shop for over 50 years was sent to Jim Briden's shop in Fargo, ND for restoration. I never thought I'd see that day as it has become a joke around here and the owner is a good guy.

Complete traction engine, or portable? Suppose they will have it done for Andover in 2 years? Last I heard the 150 will be done by then.

Have you been to Rollag and seen the multiple 110's run Jims saw mill? Very impressive!

Tom, I know Jim and done business with him when I had the dealerships, and he is a good man. And yes I heard the story of him having a "110" Case steamer in his family room, well its good to know the real story its not a scale but. I think I will keep telling the other story about Jim having his "baby" in his family room.

My wife heard me tell the story once and was shocked, and more shocked when I said I would do it also if I owned a "110"!

The old story goes that many men will talk about Case steamers but when a man that owns a "110" walks in, well, he has the floor!

Good post Tom, I sure enjoyed it

Dan
