New to the forum, Just picked up a case 630 gas. It has the eagle lift and I need to convert to 3 point arms for my current attachments. Which lift arms can be put on the pins and used to replace the eagle lift arms. What loader is a good match to this tractor. Thanks

Your Eagle Hitch is designed around modern Cat.1 3 point hitch. Very little modification should be needed to pick up your present implements, if they are currently Cat. 1.
My personal opinion is that your 630 is not a good loader tractor. If you have the adjustable wide front, it is too light for loader work. Parts are unavailable for your steering gear box, & a loader taxes it. Unless it has been changed, your tractors hydraulic pump is over 50 years old, and probably quite wore. New pumps are not available & parts for your pump are not available.
Pounce on me boys!!

John,I should ask what parts in the the hyd pump are available besides the filter . The pump is the same model from the 400's through the 830 right? Chuck

Small frame tractors like the 630 have completely different EVERYTHING than the 400 through 830 EH.

Chuck: DKase is correct. The 630 is a totally different animal than the 400, 700, early 730, 800 & early 830 series. The 630 shares many of the same parts as the 200B 300 300B 400B 430 500B 530 & 600B.

The geometry for the Eagle hitch differs from the standard 3 pt. If the0 arms are worn enough you may be able to attach 3 pt equip, or you may be able to turn the lower pins to the inside to fit. Either way, the lift is different and you may find the implement doesn't lift like you expect. Lower the top link may help or adding height tot he implement top link attachment point.

I'd listen to John Saeli on the loader.

I agree with John below, the Eagle hitch was
built to connect to nearly any conventional 3pt
equipment. I do have a Danuser back blade made
for a conventional 3pt Ford type hitch the I
had to make conversion pick up points for but
everything else I have or have had works and
everything we had when I was growing up that
was made for 3pt would hook to our late model
SC and early model 830, both with eagle hitch.
Like someone said below, you may have to turn
the hitch pins to the inside but that is easier
and cheaper than converting to conventional
3pt. I believe after you have used the eagle
hitch for a while you will come to like it.
Some folks on this forum strongly disagree with
me but I am entitled to my opinion too.

With the eagle hitch fully set up as it came
from the factory (needs the top springs) to
hook up all that you need to do is open the
latches before you get on the tractor, back up
to the implement with the arms down, pick up
into the pins, pull forward to latch and reach
back and hook up the top link. (The eagle hitch
doesn't need the anti sway bars either like the
others do, it is inherently rigid.) Never have
to leave the seat to hitch, unless it is a PTO
driven implement. Try it as is, I sure like my
eagle hitch 630 gasser. But like John says,
parts are getting hard to get.

My 630 NF gas is one of my favorite tractors to drive on a cruise. It is FAST on the road and is light enough to be trailered behind a 1/2 T pick-up. It is the largest of the small "30" series, and has a lot in common with the 430 and 530 tractors, yet hardly anything with 730 and larger. It's probably the only CASE model of the era equipped with 36" tires. Most Cat 1 implements should fit, and if they don't-changing the tool is faster and easier than changing the lift arms of the tractor. The design of the EAGLE HITCH is similar to that of all"fast hitches" used now. Discontinued about 1962 or '63, the 630 did not survive until 1969 as the rest of the series did.

Before anything else let me say I just love my 630. However, whoever labeled it as a 4 plow tractor was a complete and total liar. It just is not heavy enough or powerful enough to handle 4 bottoms or a loader reliably. Handy and fun to use on light work though. Don
