1941 SC Restore

We hope to restore a 1941 SC Case owned by my grandfather. Been sitting for 30 years.
The front wheel bearings are shot. I have the hubs bead blasted and all cleaned up, but the "dirt shields" are completely shot. And what is used for a "seal"? I'm guessing its a felt doughnut?
Did this tractor use the pressed steel rims, or was it the heavy, solid cast rims? There was one of each on the tractor. The pressed steel one was shot.
Are these parts available?

The 41' model tractors used the pressed steel rims. An exact match to the originals can be tough to find. The "dirt shields" can be had from a salvage yard, but I believe that external_link has the felt wheel bearing seals.

I had that a a last resort too. My thought with a large flat washer (or hole saw out the proper diameter from 18 gauge plate) and a short piece of 4 or 4 1/2 inch exhaust pipe, might could fabricate a couple. Thanks for your offer!
