Speaking of that (hard to do in the truck), at the engine shop I work at we work on Ford 6.0L diesel heads every so often, mainly pressure check them and resurface (they like to blow head gaskets). While at another shop down the road that specializes in diesel trucks, they told me they’ve heard of guys pulling those heads the way the truck sits (half the engine is under the firewall), but it’s far easier to lift the whole cab 6” to get at them. I think I’ll stick to engines and tractors!

I've done the 6.0's and 6.4's also. It takes about 2 hours to pull the cab on the fords. The duramax I think is easier to pull the motor but not that often you get that deep in one.stick with the Cummins!
