case 300 roundnose

hi im redoing clutch on 300 i picked up couple questions i have are is the collar with notch suppose to go against clutch r against tranny also should there be any other spacers in there does it require a pilot bearing hasnt got one now any help would be appreciated

DEALER'S SERVICE MANUAL RI Form 9-9200 is a great investment. I have no experience on case 300's however I do own a Case 310 and a service manual. Is your clutch single or twin disc? If you check in the archives there are those whom have experience on case 300's

Release bearing notch is toward the engine. Pilot bearing original p/n VT3370 changed to A30024 and may have been changed again later.
