There's a Case 1 row Corn chopper near me for sale, can someone tell me what year they made them, pic shows green spoked wheels with the rest of machine flambeau color. Jim this is the one you posted for Tim in Gibsonburg,Ohio. Looking at it to buy, coming from the woods.

I believe the machine in question is a model C forage harvester. A book I have shows they were made between 1949 and 1955. Mower, pickup, and rowcrop (corn) heads were available for them. Looks like my great-grandfather and grandfather sold at least 18 of them, and I am assuming the one you're looking at is one of them. If you go and look at it, try to find the serial number and let me know what you find. Kyle.
