vac 201 engine swap?

Has anyone on here ever swapped a 201 out of combine
into a vac? Or any other combine engine. What has to
be done exactly to make it work? If you have any
pics that would be helpful too.

I have a VAH with a 188 in it i can send some pictures not the neatest job but starts right up and runs sweet. from what i see (i bought it this way) Starter is a problem and it is about 8-10 inches longer

The engine is 1 1/4 inch longer than a vac, the hood has to be shifted a little at the rear but will close over the tank and look good, did you see my answer to your post on the pulling forum? I have built and am presently maintaining a couple.

You can get a new 148 crank for it, then offset grind for more stroke and go with an overbore liner kit...that ought to get enough out of it.
