Was wondering if case ever made rear wheel weights for the 1175? Im taking the fluid out of mine because its eating the rims away, got new rims to put on an was wondering if their were rear wheel weights for them an if so what different #'s their were?

The manual shows rear weights for the 1170-1175. They bolt on the spacer used for the factory dual setup. Configuration appears to be different than other Case weights. Doesn't give a part number in the manual.

Bryan, what is eating the rims is the chloride salts added to the water to keep it from freezing AND add extra weight. In liue of cast iron weights you could use straight water with an ethylene glycol antifreeze in it. Antifreeze has corrosion inhibitors in it which will protect your rims just like it does your engine block. You won't get quite as much weight and it will be more expensive than the salt. You will loose a little weight but when you account for the price of cast iron weights the water and antifreeze may be a suitable alternate.

Just a thought.
