Looking for a TXS 597 carb. Found on my build sheet they changed from the 114 at the time it was built and noted the change on the card. Any leads in finding a 597 would be great.

Tonight I will pull off what is on the VAC as I know it it wrong being the fuel inlet on the wrong side

Most of the 597s will have inlets tapped on both sides. If you don't locate one elsewhere send me an email. Lee

tag says 154 in the middle and the bottom area is stamped 597. It is tapped only on the outside solid casting on the inside.

Stamping on the carbs was by hand, not the greatest, may be 154 but is actually 1 54, the date the carb was built.

Like this 300 series TXS 635 carb, can barely make out the date 2 56.
