The CASE Bean Harvest Crew

After three weeks of work and a couple thousand dollars preparing a so called (field ready) combine and flex head for harvest it took only three days to wrap up our bean harvest. Other than a couple broken sickle sections and a hyd hose leak all performed flawlessly. We had to harvest a hail damaged crop with yields that varied from 5-55 bu ac. The 1370 is a new addition to our fleet, it is going through some work outs this fall to see what flaws I can find. Then it will be repaired and put up for sale. It seem to be a solid good running tractor. Rod.

Rod I figured you were working on your new combine to use it this year. It looks good. Bet you like the auto header height? Should be a 8.3L powered one? All used combines on dealer lots are "field ready". Lol.

Looks like a great crew Rod.

We would run "1370"s on the farm once in a while when we traded them in,always enjoyed running them.
I do know if I needed one, would like to buy it from you, it would be "solid state"

Thanks for posting Rod

Hi Eric, Yes this is a 8.3 powered unit. Power is not an issue. In this area some have been blowing up with con rods going through the block. This seems to happen in the 4000 hr range. This machine has just short of that for hrs and has a reman engine in it already. I love the header control, it just took a lot of work to get the head linkage fixed and adjusted for everything to work properly. Rod.

Nice to see that 1370 working.Do you have to haul the beans very far?Glad the combine is working out good for you.Looks sharp.Your vac impresses me being able to run that big of an auger. We have about 2 acres by the creek left, they are wet yet. This week is suppose to be sunny and dry here. Most of the corn is still over 25%moister.
