Got the VAC and E plow out today and thought everyone might like to see. Also some good weather pictures. Thanks for looking.

Looks good! Here's the one I rebuilt two years ago. Plowed about half an acre with it breaking dad's garden.

That is a great rebuild on your plow. I see yours
has the tail wheel scraper as well as throw away
shares. I did not know they were offered with
throw away shares.

Very nice looking VAC you have. Here are three of my plows, I have never plowed the trip plow but have plowed with the other 2

Joe, we're you in my shed again? I have all 3 of those also, and that disk plow is my favorite.

Wow, did you adapt EX wear parts to the existing moldboards? Also, were the original bottoms BX, CX, or FS? I would think that complete EX-bottoms would bolt directly to the beams.

Boy those pictures and videos take me back a few years. My dad had a VAC and plows just like that. Did a lot of plowing back in the mid '60s, in my mid teen years. I don't think we ever got ours to plow that nice though. That darn trip was forever letting loose no matter how tight we tightened that spring. :( I remember my dad even wiring it down a few times so it wouldn't trip . Surprised we didn't bust a point or worse  Going down memory lane can be fun.
LaVern :)

hey guys new to forum! I just inherited an old VAC from my dad. Need a few parts to get it running again, about a year sincw it ran. Dad passed and mom gave it to me. I clipped a many pastures with it around home. Can you tell me what year model it is from the serial number? 6012864. need to know year model for parts. thanks.

Originally it had CX 14 bottoms but parts are getting harder to find and I had some new EX14 bottoms here. CASE made frogs that bolted to the old CX style plows that accept EX bottoms. I have tons of them and I use them on my plows because you can get EX16 parts pretty easy.
