Finished beans this afternoon. Dusty as the devil going one way, not too bad the other. Combine and JD flex head performed excellent! Worked so good, I wish I had more acres. Have to wait to start corn.

Steve glad the Beans are in the bin! I walk in and look at the 1660 sitting there with Barley still on the feeder house and am a little sad the year for it is over, But the 960 or the 600 looks to have some acres to run yet

Well I guess I'm happy, about 45 bpa. If we hadn't got the 5" rain in August we wouldn't have had much of a crop. Course all the neighbors in the coffee shop had 60 to 70 bpa. Course theirs looked just like mine. If you don't tell the first lie, you don't have a chance.

If I remember correctly you are in eastern SD and at one time I think we exchanged emails and you sent a phone number.

Reason I mention this is I plan to be in Brookings sometime weekend of 17 and 18 with one of the stops at the ag museum. Want to see the Case steam engine and whatever else is interesting there.

I'm a member of Northland Case Collectors (maybe you are too) but I don't own anything Case (Makes me sad)
Your comment about the first lie is so true!

I'm sure the monitor showed 65 bu in a few small places in my fields too. LOL. Mine averaged 46 here in my part of NWIA. Being done with beans is always good. Jim
