A mounted plow for a 51 SC w/Eagle lift?

What did that plow (if there was one) look like. I have the U-shaped bail and an extra (for DC?)lift cylinder. Sure would be neat to plow the garden or plant windbreaks with. I have never seen one, have you? Leo

had this handy, the same plow was used on the "SC/DC" two or three bottoms I have a two bottom unit, the early plows have a steel rear wheel

As far as I know, there was no mounted turning plow for the lifting bail. There was a rear toolbar which could be fitted with middle busters/listers and other tillage tools, as well as planter units.
By the way, "Eagle Hitch" is a three-point type lifting system. The u-shaped bail was called only the "lifting bail" without any reference to the Case eagle.

They do pretty well with stubble with the EX-bottoms installed and pull fairly easy. However, they are not high-clearance by modern standards. Thus, you will need to chop the stalks, or else you may have a frustrating time.

So, there might have been a three point made for the SC and DC? I may have misinterpreted a response. I suppose, since there wouldn't be any top link responder for draft control, that the '51 loafing in the shed would need a cobbled up "sort of" three point hitch. The old IH pull plow is awfully clumsy and I nearly rip the tail wheel off when I back up to get furrow alignment. Wish I had Dad's old JD "jump up" with the fixed tail wheel!

The tractor in Case Nutty 1660's picture has eagle hitch. Almost all 1952-1954 SC and DC tractors had this 3-point-like suspension hitch. What you describe as being on your tractor is not eagle hitch.
Also, eagle hitch requires a different transmission casting, so your best option is probably to fabricate something. Keep in mind that the eagle hitch system did not require a draft control to work properly, so there is no factory provision for it (on any SC/DC tractor from any year). Thus, your best/cheapest/most functional option may be to copy the geometry of the eagle hitch on both the plow and the tractor.

Thanks for the explanation, I read his title quick and "seen" Eagle Hitch" and missed the "Eagle lift" I should have posted and :Bail Lift" plow sorry for the confusion on my part
