I have had my eye on this snow blade for more than a year now. Back last winter when I built the grill guard for the 440, I built the base of it with an 8" channel iron which is now going to be the main push/mtg frame for the plow. The plow's lifting mast bolted onto my grill guard perfrctly. I will weld and bolt in a a reinforcement bracket. I will also weld struts to the back of the channel extending back to the bellhousing, taking any stress loads off of the engine block. The whole push/pivot assy. tucks back under the nose of the tractor, and I think it will make a real nice setup.
I have two 1.5x6" double acting hyd cilinders that I will also fab onto the push frame at some point. It now has a removable pin to angle the blade.

Loren, looks like it should work pretty good. Know the question is do you have a "heater-houser" for the 440? In my parts there talk'en colder then last winter and if I remember correctly by the time that cold goes from here to there its colder !! Hee hee I tend to believe 30 yr. weatherman in my parts. The dam squirrels are paying overtime to collect nuts. Told the "mrs." we be burn'en more wood this winter. IF we could talk Tom into closing the door in his parts maybe winter wouldn't be so bad? (sorry Tom got'a blame somebody) oh oh yeah the 630 got the snowbucket on (don't want the YT police calling) me. God Bless

Bro, you better go for the "Heat-Houser"! That unit will be so handy for snow moving you will be running it a lot and hire out a winter job for you!
