Had to get a couple new drive tires. These have spent most of 250,000 miles on the drive axle. $2000.00 for 2 Michelins.
Guess its time for a wash too. Lol

Jon. They all most cost as much as combine tires. But I do not think combine tires will get the mileage you have put on. Do you like the big singles or duals? Jerry from OHIO

Dang Jon, I went online to Miller tire and can get all 4 tires for my 53 SC for just over half that price, and the back ones are a lot bigger around. HeHe. At least your new sneekers will make you money. Mine will never do that for me.
Loren.

I don't see much difference, but I've never had a blowout yet. They seem to handle a bit better and about the same otherwise. Maybe just a bit worse in a snowy parking lot. I don't notice any difference in traction on the road tho.

I definately don't miss those from when I was heavy truck mechanic. Fixed to many blow outs on the side of the road. Never failed the rim was always stuck on the hub and you had to beat the rim off.
