Rim Color for my 630

OK, I know it is "silver" but I have seen on the YT forum some say silver paint and some have said aluminum color paint. As I recall our '53 SC had galvanized rims but the old paint on the insides of the wheels I am going to repaint looks like what they now call Argent on modern auto and truck fancy wheels.

Any tips from you all??

I use Case/Valspar Aluminum paint for the rims. The Case part number is: 990506R1 (that number supersedes B17565, which was called Silver). - Joe

I apply the same aluminum paint, but put on a dark primer first. Seems to give the aluminum more depth.
