LA case value

a local collector pasted away last yr and the faimly is trying to sell them all , in the collection is one of a restroyed la , new big rubber , the hoods painted desert sunset, the body case flambau ,none nicer , what is this tractor worth , apraiser said 10 ,000. , thay called me and ask ,want to here your opinon ,thanks tom chesnut in ky

I'd say the appraiser is about $7,000-$8,000 too high. Maybe in KY they are worth more compared to out west were most were sold. Remember, how much money was put into it does not determine the value all the time.

If they are worth $10,000 a piece, I will try to round up a ship load here to go back to the USA

Seriously, a running, unrestored LA with good tires would bring $1,000 here. I do not know what really good restored one would sell for as I have never seen one.

The apraiser is nuts. My guess would be 2500-2800.

It costs more to restore an LA then you could ever get out of it.
