2290 power shift

Have a 2290 power shift tractor that will randomly kill when started after the clutch peddle is let up even just slightly. It just all of the sudden started doing this. Question is do i go to the power shift valve first or the main clutch valve? i assume i have debris in one of the spools. but not sure. Also am i going to harm anything if i continue to use it this way to go a short distance to the shop less than five miles? Thanks for your help.

There is a switch on the ps valve on the right side of tractor has two wires coming out of it. My 2294 acted the same way after the dealer replaced the beveled gear that runs the pumps. The switch has blue wires and has a rubber cover over it. They replaced the switch and she was good to go.....at least for now...

Chances are it is C3 pilot spool stuck. Shift PS into 2cd or 3rd before you start engine, then start it and it should not kill unless you shift it into 1rst or rev when running. If it does not kill in 2 or 3 remove and clean C3 pilot spool and its bore. It should become free enough to fall out of valve on its own. If it kills in 2 or 3 let us know then it is something other than C3 pilot or clutch pack. Rod.
