Did they make a 54 dc? I thought the last year was 53, but I saw this at the show today.

I have 2 of them. If they were not built in 54 I guess I have something special.

I have a DC-4 and when I inquired about the build card was told that it started as a 53 DC-3. Then was reworked as a 54 DC-4. So I guess it is a 53-54 DC-4.

DC's were not selling well at the end of production. Case had so many 53's in the warehouse that they renumbered them.They where changed from hand clutch to foot clutch. I would guess some were changed from DC-3 to DC-4. They were then sold as 1954 models.

I had a 1951 D. The build card showed it being a fuel burner. It sat in the warehouse for several months are was changed at the factory to gasoline head and manifold and then shipped to Sidney NE.
