830 Pwr Steering Lines.

I"ve been working on my 830CK steering and think I"ve got it fixed. I have noticed that the pressure line from the pump to the gear can get warm. Not hot but noticeably warm with the tractor running without turning the steering wheel.

Is this normal? Would someone with a 30 series check theirs out and let me know.

I just flushed my pwr steering and changed the filter. The engine was warmed up and I didn't think the pressure side was goofy warm, I unhooked and extended the return side to get the oil out. I will pay attention and let you know. I've got a neat infra-red temp reader that will give me nice numbers..

I went out and ran the 530 for about 5 min without turning the wheel and the line never got warm

restriction somewhere. Back to the drawing board.
