I have an early Case D that is very original but used. It only has x2 two levers on the right, hand clutch and brake. No PTO, no hydraulics, no pedals, no electrics, no place for a starter motor. The serial number on the engine is 4207267C. The tractor is still in its original rusty faded orange (never been restored or painted) and the engine is orange down to the casting.
My question is, did the early 1939 D use the C engine? My search on the engine number dates the engine late 1938. The tractor has not worked from the mid 60's and has stood inside ever since. Its not running as the mag is faulty.
