I went to a sale i ill. yesterday to try to buy a nice 730 diesel ,was told when i got there that it was going to be a biding war between faimly members of the old case dealer in that county and it was not going to leave the county, it did not leave the county, nice tractor ,but went 1500. higher than the last bid other than the family members ,hope there still speaking ,it did go to a good home and will be kept in great shape ,came home with a empty trailer ,but met some great people and hope to see them at some shows,,great trip ,not telling the results might give somebody wrong ideas ,im still trying to buy ,tom in ky , I was nice meeting everone at the sale ,several are in this forum.

Tom, it was nice meeting you. I personally challenge you to come back next year to the American Thresherman show. We are featuring J.I. Case and are hosting the Case Heritage Foundation 2015 Expo. I am on the board of directors for the show so if you have any questions let me know. Hotels and campsites need to be booked ASAP! That auction sure was a long, hot, drawn out affair. All of those Case tractors went to excellent homes and will be at the show next year. Glad I could meet a fellow Case Man! Jason

Was that the auction with the New Holland TR98 combine for sale? I was curious to see what it brought as well.
ok might as well give it up , 730 , 7500. the 930 needed a seat , after market wide front , running on 4 cilenders if that ,brought 5200 i think, the new holland was like new, it went with the grain head. in the 90000 range, the 2590 like new 14000, the case ih low 50 s the john deere like new low 60, s everthing brough big money , big case offset disk 8000 ,these are close ,I. didnot. write them down tom

Wow stuff sold well. The bargain would have been the Deere tractor , that was not out of line.

Thanks. I would have loved to own the New Holland for that price. I owned two of them before my current Deere, and I'm still partial to the TR. Great machine IMO. Arvin
