Don, you may have this one I cannot remember if I posted it, this was my Dads Brother Roger Stanley's dealership he had for a few years, he sold this 222 to his brother Lloyd Stanley in Sterling Colo. it had less than 25 hours on it when I bought it from him, I guess you can say it a "Family" tractor, all it had ever done was blow out a 8' x 20' driveway with a snow blower when I got it,I installed a NOS sleeve hitch I had and a Hyd PTO kit and the mower on it is from a 444 we sold new in 1974

Remember STANLEY'S from years back, bought a good number of parts etc. from them. Put a lot of time in the seat of a neighbor's 2090 that was bought new from there. Was a good dealer, always friendly, appreciated your business.

I'm pretty sure Stanley bought out Koch. My Grandpa bought a 220 garden tractor and a 970 brand new from Stanley in Waconia. oldproudvet, are you still in the Waconia / Mayer neighborhood? I am between Mayer and Waconia. Thanks

Where in the world was the "Stanley" dealership? We had a small farm between Mayer and New Germany, just 5 or so miles from Waconia and Victor Koch had the Case dealership forever there. Must have been after the merger, his old store was on the main street of Waconia, a 2 level deal, the alley was much lower in the rear and that was the service area. After he closed the inventory remained and one of his sons opened a NAPA franchise upstairs in the 80s. I bought a lot of his inventory including his factory magneto tester.

Tom,

I did not have that info. Thanks for posting it. Do you have any idea what years he was in business? Did he buy out another dealer or just start from scratch? Thanks again, Don
