Axle is the same, Wishbone and chicken roost is different. Keep in mind the D axle is different than the DC4.

are they a different axle or is it just the extension for the added height to make up for the 38" rubber on a DC-4? I never looked it up in the parts book I just thought it was the same as a D but with the extension added? cnt

Tom,

I think the axle is the same on all. But the wishbone for a D or DO is slightly different than for an under the radiator DC4. The angle of the wishbone has to change to account for the axle pivot extension on a DC4. We found that out when trying to put a D front end under a DC4 for tractor pulling. Don

Axles are different! On the D the center of the wheel is above the axle. On the DC4 it is below the axle. Spindles are different.

Darrel,

According to the CaseIH parts site the axle is the same on all fixed wide fronts, if I'm reading it correctly. You are correct in that the spindles are different. Don
