65 case loader and 870 tractor

I have a chance to buy a case 65 loader, and I would like to put it on my 870 case tractor, but I do not know if it will fit. Any opinions?

The 65 loader was made for the David Brown tractors. That doesn't mean it won't fit , it just means it will take some fabrication.

Where are you located, I've got a model 70 case loader that came off an 870. Needs new brackets, $400 cash. I'm located in southeast Ohio.

You will run into more problems than you can imagin, trying to mount a 65 ldr on an 870. get the notion out off your mind.
