Bolt seized on hindge

the upper hinge broke on my 2590, I am unable to get the bolts out. I have heated them, beat them to death and the are solid, any suggestions out there.

I assume you are talking door hinge. Lots of patience & rust penetrant. If I remember from going thru the same hastle, you can't get in there w/ a drill. If the top of the bolt is sheared off, try double nutting the bottom & use a back & forth motion w/ patience. In a rapid motion, with the palm of your hand, slap the wrench, or vise grip back & forth to break the seize.

I don't have any other Ideas for you on how to get out the ones that you have stuck in there however when I went through that on my tractor when I put it back together I opted for stainless steel bolts and nuts so I wouldn't have the same problem next time.

If the broken stem can not the driven out by pounding on it, it now is like a rivet. Keep beating on it, it just becomes tighter. As a last ditch effort what I have done is put a 4 in cut off disc in my hand held grinder and carefully cut through the hinge length ways. By doing so it relieves the pressure on the pin and allows getting a penetrating oil on the total length of the bolt. The pin can now be tapped out. The hinge is still useable as is but I guess one could weld it back together. Cover windows well before grinding or pitting will occur, Rod.
