Case dealership Truck

A friend of mine and fellow case man recently bought a 64 Ford F150 that originally belonged to the JI Case dealership in his home town. This pickup is painted Desert Sunset and Flambeau Red from the Ford factory. Was this a common thing at the time for the case dealers to do? Does anybody know of or have another one like it? He is in the initial stages of restoration of the truck and hopes to display it when finished. Any information on this would be appreciated.

here is the truck color scheme that was "CASE" approved by Mark Rottinman the then "Pres" of CASE

My dad jumped on the Case truck band wagon and bought a Chevy CO60 with a Swartz tilt bed deck which looked exactly like Bro's pic, with the exception of the tool boxes under the deck. Case Co. had a dealer program for it's dealers, that if they bought a truck locally, and painted it two tone as in the pic., Case would provide all the grafics, includeing the dealer ID info for the truck doors. They had the grafics for conventional cab as well as for CO's for all the popular brands. From what dad said there was also a limited time discount program on 100 series tractors for dealers that bought trucks as picured, and sent in the required paper work, with pics into Case.

I heard that FORD made a batch of F-100's and F-250's in 1964 with CASE designed colors. The F-150 was not made back then. This is why we go tractor shows, to learn new things about old stuff. I don't remember the quantitys built.

In 1968 My grandfather purchased a new Chevy TE 50 truck (tilt-cab, cab over engine) for use at our family's dealership. It has a Mid Equipment roll-back bed with a hydraulic winch for loading and unloading equipment. The truck was purchased new from the local Chevy dealer and my grandfather brought over some paint from his dealership and had the Chevy dealer paint the truck in Case colors. This truck was used to make many tractor and equipment deliveries and pickups, and was also used to bring parts crates and boxes back from the Case branch house in Columbus, OH. It was used until the dealership closed in 1978 and was then sold. My father found it by chance in 2006 and was able to purchase it again.

Case Nutty I remember my dad bought one of those cab over Fords with the Case color schemes. That was one steep tilt bed! I rode a Case garden tractor down it once, holy cow I learned how to reverse the hyd drive after that ride. I can remember many a trip in the bunk to Archbold and back. The other thing I remember it didn't have a spool winch it used a long cyl. if I remember right. Have to have pic's somewhere I'll find and post.

Mike, yes our 1944 VAC and 1949 SC are pictured on the truck. Both were sold new through the dealership. I believe my dad had just bought the VAC the fall that the picture was taken. It has since been repainted. What kind of deliveries to your farm with the truck do you remember?
