I just finished restoring a VAC-13 with my father. If you have any questions I might be able to help. Mine also has the adjustable wide front.

do you have a set of fenders if not i have a set that is in rust free needs to be sanded and primed also haqve more odds and end for vac tractors

Likewise. We've owned ole girl for about 16 years, it's the handiest thing in the bush. It's amazing what it will pull. Every bearing and seal is new as well as the motor got a full boogy rebuild, new cam ,lifters and valves as well. Now if I can only get Murphy"s to make a set of aluminum roller rockers.

Yes sir, that's an 8 volt battery. It was used for mock up only, Dad bought a new 12 volt today from the ford dealer that is the same dimension. I used to use the 8 volt on my farmall M, because the previous owner had the voltage regulator set up for it.

I see you noticed the mopar ignition. the distributor is a modified 1985 318/360 unit, someday, I'll figure out how to modify the cap so it has only 4 towers instead of 8. This is the 3rd time I've done this set up and they all work great....1938 towmotor hi-lo, 1950 M and this case .

Yes I did, and thanks. I have a few dents I need to shrink out of it where the dash curves up. I put the night switch in the dash to make it easier for dad to operate.

If you need to rebuild your steering box, look back a few months. I posted pics on how to make trailer bearings work on the worm gear as the originals are nla. I could use an original seat assembly, this tractor came with a bucket seat out of a ramcharger. I liked it, dad didn't.

i will call tomorrow evening my fenders has no rust other than surface and some drilled holes for lights and i think a grease gun box at one time the lights and grease box is not on there no more what would you wanting to pay i will send pics tomorrow

matt picked up afender at Lindsay used Tractor Parts, Lindsay ON 705 324 8331. Iknow he had a couple of va type carcases there in aug2012 with the clamshell fenders. Maybe they have a seat John
