1370 power shift troubles

Recently purchased a 1370 with a power shift problem. Start the tractor with the clutch in and its fine let the clutch out it labors in the first shift. Shift into second and third no noise sounds fine. You can drive it around in the 2 and 3 shift and it shifts real nice and crisp

I had something similar happen to my 1370. It was a stuck valve in the square box on the side of the tractor. I'm thinking it was the C4 spool but I cant remember. If no one answers your question I will look at mine and try to give you a better answer

I would remove both C3 + C4 pilot spools and make sure they are free, they should slide out of the valve by their own weight. The springs and plugs are different for those, keep them in the proper location. Let us know if that helps. Rod.

I believe that's where the tractor came from bought it from a friend who had just purchased it. I will give the spools a try and let you guys know thanks!
