Case 1070 worth

I have neighbor that has a case 1070 for sale.
he states that it is field ready.
Yellow in color not sure if it is power shift or not.
It looks good and has a cab on it, going to look at it tomorrow and find out more.

What is a fair price for it?

This one is in the eye of the buyer.......They'll go here in western MN for 2500 to 10. To new to be a collectable and to old to be a super reliable field piece. I paid 8 for my late model one with hub duals, great interior and svc records. 3100 hours when I bought it. Svc records indicated 920 hours in 1994 on a dealership service. Well worth it to me for my usage. I use it for turning my baler. Could have used a 970 but never found a decent one. earlier yellow units have some serious differential pwr shift updates, but by now an earlier one either has been updated or probably works fine. You really can't go wrong if it's an 8 speed, assuming it runs out ok. The earliest ones had diff issues if they had a wheel in a furrow for a long time. Parts are NLA. My 2 bits
