Block heater on a 730

What's the best way to add a heater to a 730? Doesn't seem like it would work in the lower radiator hose. Just wondering how others have done it.

There's a pipe plug above the oil filter that you remove and John Saeli stocks the block heater that screws in. I have one in my 800 and 530 diesels and they work good when you keep your machine out of the open weather.

If you want it to work good get a tank heater. Hook it to the same place 1030d said and to the water manifold on top between the thermostat and head. That way you can plug it in for an hour or so and the engine will be warm. Block heaters take hours and if it's real cold don't do enough in my experience.
