Case 700

There is a auction coming up Sat. with a 700 LP tractor on it. I am not familiar with this model, but it looks like a cute tractor and wondering any history any of you could give me and how many they made?? What range from poor to good avg. condition would be a rough guess price value. Thank you.

I have a 710b in ontario, and i just love it. It has lots of power, will always start, and pulled my 14 ft disc no problem this spring. Mine is only one of 140 something ever built i beleve according to tractordata. I paid 1200 for mine in need of paint.

That is very interesting Weldcase. I recently bought one of these with a 267 cu in Diesel motor. The only other 700 I know of in Oz was bought in from the States in a container by a collector,and he told me that model was never sold here. The other odd thing is mine has clam shell mudguards but does not have Eagle Hitch. Apart from the dual range transmission, I think the 700 is the same as the 800, which I also have. It is a bit rough, so now getting a fix-up and later a paint job.
