It is 107 today in northern Ca. Our ranch is at 2000 ft. Down in the valley must be 110 plus. Stayed in the house with the A/C this afternoon. Here are some pictures of putting up hay. Steve

Thanks for sharing the fine pictures and letting people know what part of the country they are from.

Seems as if some people are ashamed to let others know the area of the world they live in.

I have been out that way in the past and didn"t know it got so hot.
 
Great pics! Does it usually get that hot there? How about your average rain fall? I see you're irrigating the hay and the hills look fairly dry. Stay cool!

Yes in the summer we have about 30 days over 100 and up to 113. We average 25 to 30 in. of rain last 2 yrs. about 12 in. Calif. is in a servere drought.Heard today about 500,000 acers in Ca. was not planted this year because of no water. Maybe more than that.Steve
