Just waiting on the dew to come so we can get some hay rolled up.

What model Case is that? I'm not a big Case guy and don't seem to see many older models around here, that looks like the front of a Magnum and a Case cab. Nice backdrop too, where abouts you located?

2094 on the rake, and 2594 on the baler. We are in western North Dakota, kind of on the eastern edge of the oil boom.

Now those are a great looking pair of Case tractors! Would be great to see them up closer. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Depends on what kind of hay and the weather. It's been really hot so some days up real early to rake with a dew and bale before it's all off, and that's for alfalfa or grass/alfalfa mix. Same in the evening, wait for dew to start and rake and bale right behind the rake until it's too tough. This was high ground so we can go in the evening. If it was low ground it would be too wet too fast. Of course there are a few guys around here that will bale any time of the day and will be feeding pretty much sticks to the cows this winter. Unless it's grass or about to rain there is only a few hours a day a person can get "quality" hay put up. Quality meaning keeping as many of the alfalfa leaves on as possible while being efficient, if that makes any sense. Lol

Yeah, there are guys here that will put hay in the bale that is too wet and it ends up molding, but they don't seem to care.
