My gearbox is leaking oil out of the bottom is there a seal or o ring that is a common problem

There's a seal leaking, unfortunately requires the whole box be taken apart, not too bad of a job but not a beginner job either. If you are going to put in a 504 switch it to hydrostatic steering, it will save you from having to drill a hole in the front web of the 504 block for the steering shaft.
