2290 torque limiter slipping

I installed a new torque limiter into a 2290 that had spun on the flywheel. I should have had the flywheel ground but I didn"t. Torque limiter slipped so I had to split the tractor for the 2nd time. Torque limiter looked burnt like it had slipped the 2nd time but not to bad. Had the flywheel ground put it back together and of course it still slips. I"m suspecting I have to replace the torque limiter disc that has slipped bit I"m not sure. I have done quite a few of these discs and never really had any trouble with one slipping. Just poking around to see if any of you case guys gave had this trouble. Thanks

Could be weak belleville spring. Derek

I had the same problem pervious owner had turned the injection pump an was creating to much horsepower an causing the slipping
