Model S front rims

Hello out there! I am in need of a pair of pressed steel front rims for my 1943 Model S tractor. The tire stem hole on one of mine has rusted out badly and the other is probably not far behind. These are the 5 lug variety and presently have 6.00 X 16 tires on them. I would like a set of originals or if someone can tell me where I can get a set of new ones that look more or less like originals. Thanks in advance

Just an idea ... redrill the hole on a good spot on the rim , then put a washer {weld on } so the hole doesn't have sharp edges ... fill in the old hole and your ready to go ..
I have done this on a trailer rim and it last forever ...
make sure you measure the hole so you know how far from the edge to drill the new one ...

like I said just an idea ... mark

Hello from Mn . All tin rims used on a S were 15 inch. There is a 16 inch Allis rim that fits, and thats may be what you have. 15 inch S tin rims are very hard to find. The Allis works fine and does the job.

I blast mine then bend up a 5/8 washer to fill in the rot role. Heat it and bend the last 1/4" or so on 2 sides at a 90 and weld it in! Does the trick everytime.

Thanks for all the ideas, the washer trick is a good one.
Don L. was the allis chalmers you were refering to one of the WC, WD, WD45 models? I see this website has a 16" rim that sounds right for that model Allie.

That is the rim you'd need.

Thank you again for the help. Further investigation
shows the rust on my rim is too bad to make a repair
worth while. I will go ahead and get the Allis
Chalmers rim.

Where are you located? I have a pair that could possibly be reworked. They are not perfect. But are the right size 4.00 x15. Valve stem areas are good but there are other spots that will need patching. I am in michigan
