DB 885: does it have a perkins 152?

Have a chance to get a 885 david brown.does it have
a perkins 152 ? If not what 4 cylinder DB does it
share parts with?

case bought out david brown in the early 70s

No Perkins... Hear it all the time, but there were no factory DBs with a Perkins.

It is a 3/55 DB engine(3 cyl/ 55 cubes per hole), many parts interchange with the 4/55 engine used in a 1200, 1210, 1390 and others.

DB 885: does it have a perkins 152?
