Jon's big adventure, the return home

Well I got down to Jim's house with the load no problems. Did have a minor mishap while unloading, but no damage. Loading the 1030 was a true adventure. Couldn't pull it on with Jim's 1030, so had to use the 97 as well. Them once the tractor started to climb the truck would just roll. Ended up using a pulley and cable pulling back and the 97 pulling forward to get it on. Once it was on, the trip home went well. Got in last night about 10:15 after 1,315 miles total. The stuff getter performed well and my milage average was right at 8 mpg for the whole trip. Varied from 6.75 to 9.5 mpg.

(quoted from post at 13:24:30 06/23/14) He sure was lucky he didn't snap the spindles on that red thing.
I've picked up heavier things than this with that red thing! Aside from having a crappy electrical system it's a good runner.
