Bleeding out the 3rd filter on a Racine 400

Gentlemen (the term is used a bit loosely) I've used the last of the NOS Case filters in my stash and the one I bought recently would not bleed. I took it off and found it has a check valve in the inlet port on top negating my ability to gravity bleed. I hate to place unfiltered fuel into the bleed hole to fill it and I'm assuming the later tractors have a different bleed procedure. What do you guys do?

I fill the tank full and back the bleed screws out until fuel shows. On the final filters I'll get fuel to it and let the pump do the rest. Make sure you have a good battery.

That's what I ended up doing, open the compression
release and spin away. It actually went pretty
quickly but I was more curious about bleeding around
that check valve. Thanks
