Ingenuity or sacrilege????

I finally managed to get the loader mounted on my 830 lp. It took some serious engineering to make mounts to make that John Deere loader fit. It turned out to fit the old girl pretty well I think... but I got a big surprise as far as operation!!! I set it up to run off the tractor remotes and it is SUPER FAST!!! Apparently that Case pump has a lot more flow than I thought!! I am going to have to put some restrictor fittings in to slow it down a bit.. I am also having an issue wit one of the tractor remotes. It works perfect in one direction, but is really slow and wont hold pressure in the other direction... I am gonna have to dig out the book and tear into that valve eventually.

It'd be a little bit better if you peeled the name off the loader and put the Eagle back on the nose!

Looks good. This is another example of EBI, engineering by inventory, at it's best.

About the hydraulic issue, try swapping the tips on the hoses and see if the problem follows the tip. Sometimes they wear and do weird things.

Great job on the mounting. The 830's hyd are not super fast, but the cylinders on those JD loaders are super small. They were built to match JD's slower, but high pressure hyd system. It will be fast but you will find out it will not lift much unless you set the 830's hyd pressure up to 2000 psi or more. If you leave the pressure lower it will be easier on the tractor, you will just have to take smaller bites. Rod.

Deere pumps are not that much higher in gallons per minute but they use like 2700psi so therefore they use a smaller cyl and could control the flow from their scv's. I think your model Case is more like 1500psi max.

The grill guard is a good idea and I may have to make one yet. As far as extending the rails to the trans case, that is exactly what I was trying to avoid. I wanted them from front to rear axle to keep the pressure off the middle. I have seen a couple broken blocks from that. I already switched the hoses on that remote and it acts the same... It has to be in the valve body. If I cant figure it out I may have to run it over to 1370 Rod since he is only about 40 miles away...
My brother (who bleeds green) and I have discussed paint... and I am going to paint the mounts to match the tractor... but not the loader... yet!! Rod, I am with you, keep the pressure down and save the tractor and loader both. I have a big koyker loader on a 4440 for the heavy stuff... but the 830 with this loader is much handier for the lighter work. I just need to slow it down. It will literally go from fully raised to on the ground in about 2 seconds!! I am going to try sizing some restrictors in the hoses to slow it down a bit.. Thanks for the comments everyone!!

The best thing to do is just idle the tractor if it is to fast. By adding restrictors any oil that can not go through them has to get pushed over the relief valve. And I do keep most of the commonly used parts for those valves on hand, Rod.
