rebuilding a water pump

Hello I am trying to rebuild the water pump on my case 430 utility tractor but I have been unable to find schematics or a book showing me how. Would anyone be able to help me with this please.

These pumps are very simple. There are two wear parts. The shaft/bearing assembly, and the rubber seal disk. To do the job, you must have the right equipment to press both the fan mounting flange and the impeller off of the shaft, and to remove the shaft from the housing (since it will probably be frozen in place). Also, you must be careful not to damage the carbon disk which supports the rubber seal, since these can be difficult to find.
Really, none of the rebuild parts are readily available to the average person, and it takes special equipment to rebuild the pump. Once you consider labor and parts, $70 is a good price. If you are wanting an original pump for a restoration, then you might want to look for a local shop that does that type of work. I had the original one on my VAC-14 rebuilt for $65 at a local shop.
